ekaraksha collects only the data necessary to operate the certification service.
Data we collect
- Your email address (to send booking links, credentials, and results).
- Your name (to address you and to print on your certificate).
- Your exam answers and integrity event logs (to evaluate and to detect cheating).
- Payment status and gateway transaction IDs (we never see your card data).
Data we do NOT collect
- No webcam images or recordings.
- No biometric data.
- No government ID documents.
- No card data (Razorpay handles that entirely).
Retention
Exam answers and audit logs are retained indefinitely as they are append-only and constitute the certification record. Personal data (email, name) is retained for the lifetime of the certification.
